What is Teeth?

The off-chain currency you earn by playing. It buys cosmetics and enters Teeth rooms. It has no guaranteed monetary value and cannot be cashed out.

Can I cash out Teeth?

No. Teeth is not convertible to money, crypto or anything outside CROAKZ.

Is my score checked?

Yes. Every solo run is replayed on the server from your recorded inputs. If the replay does not match, the run earns nothing. More.

Why did I stop earning Teeth in solo?

You hit the daily cap: 500 Teeth from solo per UTC day. You still earn XP. Check-in and tank winnings are not affected.

How does The Tank end?

Last shark alive wins. If 120 seconds run out, the shark with the most hit points wins, then the one closest to the centre, then the one with the most damage dealt.

What beats what?

Bite beats movement. Croak beats Bite. Dash punishes a wasted Croak. The triangle.

Are there bots?

Only in Free rooms, only after a 45 second wait, only if you choose to start with them, and they are always labelled as bots. Never in rooms with an entry.

I left the queue. Do I get my entry back?

Yes, in full, as long as the room has not launched.

Where does the rake go?

In Teeth rooms, 10% of the pot is burned. It is gone, nobody gets it. In future USDC rooms, the rake goes to the treasury and is capped at 10% by the contract.

Can I buy an advantage?

No. The shop is cosmetic only. Fins, scars, grills, trails, frames and emotes. Same bite for everyone.

Do I need a wallet?

Yes, it is how you sign in. It takes one signature, no transaction and no gas. No wallet yet? Create a Coinbase Smart Wallet with a passkey from the sign-in page. Wallet.

What is on-chain?

Nothing yet. Teeth and XP live off-chain and signing in costs no gas. Next on Base: USDC rooms through an escrow contract, and the CROAKZ skin collection. Coming to Base.

Who decides the winner of a USDC room?

The game server, and a CROAKZ key called the resolver signs the result. The contract checks the winner was in the room and caps the rake, but it trusts the resolver on who won. Trust model.

Is there a $CROAKZ token?

Not today. It says "Soon" and that is all it says. Anything you see for sale under that name is not ours.
